Listen up right, Meow! The cuddliest, cutest event of the year is happening Thursday, April 11, when adoptable kittens and cats will convert City Hall to Kitty Hall for a citywide adoption event.
We are not kitten around when we say you will not want to fur-get this! This year’s Kitty Hall is extra special because: it’s falling on National Pet Day and, for the first time ever, kittens will also be joined by two cuddly guinea pigs, Gabby and P.B.!
WHAT: Seattle Animal Shelter’s Annual Kitty Hall
WHEN: Thursday, April 11, 11:30 a.m.–2 p.m.
WHERE: Seattle City Hall’s Bertha Knight Landes Room, 600 Fourth Ave.
The Seattle Animal Shelter along with other members of the Finance and Administrative Services (FAS) team invite the public to meet, greet and hopefully adopt a kitten, cat or critter in the shelter’s care.
If you drop by the event, you can visit several kitty stations to meet cats and kittens eligible for adoption and visit booths with information on renewing a pet license and other outreach services. You can even snap a photo in the Kitty Cam Photo Booth. And of course, returning this year is the opportunity for you to cast your vote for adoptable adult cats who are vying to be named the “Kitty Council President.”
All of the kittens, cats and critters at the April 11th event will be available for adoption, and adopters will be able to take home their cat or critter as soon as they complete their adoption paperwork at the event.
Don’t cat nap on this invitation – drop by and meet a fur-ever friend!
P.S. Not able to attend the event but interested in adoption or fostering? No problem. Visit the Seattle Animal Shelter web page today to learn about adoptable pets and foster opportunities: www.seattle.gov/animal-shelter
