Pups and their people showed up on June 12 for the annual Furry 5K, a key fundraiser hosted by the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation.
The event was held in person at Seward Park in Seattle for the first time since 2019 and raised more than $100,000 to provide a safety net for homeless pets.
All the proceeds from the Furry 5K go to the Seattle Animal Shelter to provide emergency medical care, behavior training, specialty food, and even enrichment toys – all to help dogs, cats and critters find their forever homes.
