Summer has finally arrived and it’s time to get outside to enjoy it. Our dogs waiting for adoption at the Shelter would love to join you for a walk.
Dog walkers are needed every day, weekends and holidays included, for two-hour scheduled shifts at least one day per week. Each dog receives at least a 30-minute walk in all kinds of weather.
- Be 18 years of age or older with proof of COVID vaccination.
- Commit to a weekly, scheduled two-hour shift for six consecutive months of service.
- Be able to squat, bend, twist, lift and stand for long periods.
- Attend required training classes.
- Be able to work independently without direct supervision.
- Have previous experience handling dogs over 40 pounds.
