People lined up for their chance to adopt the perfect pet at the Seattle Animal Shelter’s open house on June 25.
More than 20 animals found new homes that day: 12 kittens, four adult cats (including a bonded pair), three dogs, and one guinea pig. And at least five kitties are scheduled for adoption when they are ready to go to their new homes.
Thanks to the staff, volunteers, and adopters who made it a great way to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Shelter. In honor of the anniversary, adoption fees are 50% off through July 10. It’s not too late to adopt or foster a pet that needs a home – one is waiting just for you!
