A pet license is the best way to ensure that, should your pet become lost, you are reunited as quickly as possible. A license is also required for dogs, cats, miniature goats and potbellied pigs in the Seattle city limits. Not having a pet license could lead to a fine of $125 per unlicensed pet.
To purchase or renew your pet’s license, go to http://www.seattle.gov/animal-shelter/license or call 206-386-4262.
