Offer good through Aug. 21at shelter and Whole Foods adoption event
SEATTLE — The Seattle Animal Shelter is bulging at the seams with cute cats and adorable kittens waiting for their forever homes. To help find them homes, the shelter is reducing fees and charges through Aug. 21. The shelter will also be participating in a multi-agency adoption event Saturday, Aug. 20 from noon to 3 p.m.
The reduced fees will apply at both locations. The fees and charge are as follows:
• Kittens – $100 (plus license, if applicable)
• Cats (6 months or older) – No Fee (plus license, if applicable)
• Two kittens – $150 (plus licenses, if applicable)
“It is definitely kitten season here at the Seattle Animal Shelter and we are hoping to get our kittens into loving new homes. We also have adult cats that often get overlooked at this time of year. We hope these reduced fees will help them find forever homes, too,” says Don Jordan, Seattle Animal Shelter director.
Your adoption package includes:
• Initial vaccinations
• Feline Leukemia testing
• Certificate for free health exam at local veterinarians
• Spay or neuter
• Two-year Seattle Pet License (if applicable)
This Saturday’s adoption event features cats, kittens, dogs and critters. It will be held in the parking lot of Whole Foods-Interbay, 2001 15th Ave West.
